When making the stamp patterns for these puzzles, I just sort of plunked down whatever looked nice. It was only when making the second batch of Rubber Stamp puzzles (what are now puzzles four and five), did I realize how fortuitous a decision I had made. For Puzzle 5, I made a new stamp that did not have the same properties as the first two stamps. As the number of possible stamps increases in a puzzle, the complexity automatically goes up as well. It was unnecessary to make the new stamp internally complex as well.
